Corrections

Our Commitment to Accuracy

TopicBlaze is committed to accurate, fair, and verifiable journalism. We take errors seriously. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly, transparently, and permanently.

How to Report an Error

If you believe a TopicBlaze article contains a factual error, please contact our editorial team at contact@topicblaze.com with the subject line “Correction Request”. Please include:

  • The URL of the article in question
  • The specific claim you believe is incorrect
  • Supporting evidence or source for the correction

Our Corrections Process

Upon receiving a correction request, our editorial team will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
  2. Investigate the claim against original sources
  3. If an error is confirmed, update the article within 48 hours
  4. Add a visible correction notice at the top or bottom of the affected article noting what was changed and when

Types of Corrections

Minor corrections (spelling, grammar, formatting) are fixed silently without a notice unless the error materially affected meaning.

Factual corrections (incorrect dates, names, figures, misattributed quotes, inaccurate descriptions of events) receive a visible correction note appended to the article, dated and describing what was changed.

Significant corrections (material errors that substantially change the meaning or conclusion of an article) receive a prominent notice at the top of the article and are shared via TopicBlaze social channels.

Editorial Independence

Correction decisions are made solely by TopicBlaze editorial staff based on journalistic standards. No correction will be suppressed or delayed due to advertiser, sponsor, or third-party pressure. TopicBlaze does not accept payment to remove or alter published corrections.

Retraction Policy

In cases where an article is found to be fundamentally inaccurate or was published in violation of our editorial standards, TopicBlaze will issue a full retraction. Retracted articles are not deleted — they are clearly marked as retracted with an explanation, preserving the public record.

This corrections policy was last reviewed: April 2026. Questions about this policy may be directed to contact@topicblaze.com.
